OBJECTIVE:

On 14 July 2025, UCSI University and College participated in the CEPA and CSR Majlis Penghijauan Malaysia, marking the successful closure of the three-year Sungai Besi Reforestation Programme with WWF-Malaysia planting 1,000 tree saplings.

This reforestation journey began nearly three years ago at UCSI University under RCE Greater Kuala Lumpur (RCE GKL). Supported by the Department of Federal Territory Forestry and led by The Blue Ribbon, the project became a flagship initiative for SDG 13: Climate Action. The closing ceremony at Garden Spring Cheras showcased community-driven sustainability, with UCSI’s Culinary Department presenting “From Forest Garden to the Table.”
