OBJECTIVE:

MySDG Academy successfully convened a Follow-Up Meeting on Third Sector Empowerment on 23 April 2026 at Garden Spring, Cheras. The session adopted a roundtable format alongside project visits, bringing together over 30 key stakeholders from government agencies, academia, and social enterprises.

The discussion focused on advancing Malaysia’s social economy and strengthening the role of the third sector, fostering cross-sector collaboration and strategic dialogue in preparation for the upcoming conference in November.

A key highlight was the official appointment of seven co-chairs across three dedicated working groups. These groups will play a pivotal role in driving initiatives and shaping a coordinated national agenda for the third sector, reinforcing its contribution to community well-being and sustainable development.
