In addition to environmental sustainability, we acknowledge the importance of social sustainability and equity. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse campus community that respects and celebrates individuals from all backgrounds: regardless of age, religious belief, race, social standing and nationality. We prioritise social justice, fair labour practices, gender equality and equal access to education, ensuring that sustainability efforts encompass social well-being.

Inculcating inclusive campus life includes involving those with disabilities. The buildings have been designed with them in mind where ramps and passenger lifts are all available and dedicated parking lots are allocated.

Our university offers scholarships and grants specifically dedicated to supporting underprivileged students who otherwise might not have the chance to pursue their tertiary education. We also actively promote grants in sustainability-focused research, projects, and initiatives. These funding opportunities aim to encourage innovation and empower students to drive positive change in sustainability-related fields.
