UCSI Group Launches Santé – A New Era of Healthy Gourmet Fast Food

OBJECTIVE:

KUALA LUMPUR: UCSI Group has launched Santé – a pioneering healthy gourmet fast food restaurant that redefines the way people experience convenience dining.

Meaning “health” or “wellness” in French, Santé insists on no deep oil frying, no synthetic substances, no processed white sugar, no microplastics, no chemical flavourings, no chemical preservatives, no artificial colouring, and no chemical stabilisers.

It also insists on the freshest natural ingredients – Australian beef, seaweed-fed chickens raised at the best farms and fresh garoupa fillets.

“Santé is built on the conviction that fast food can be healthy,” said UCSI founder and executive chairman Dato’ Peter Ng during Santé’s official launch on Oct 8 . “And gourmet food can also be prepared with the same speed as fast food.

“We’ve taken everything people love about fast food – speed, convenience, flavour – and recreated it with fresh, natural ingredients.

“By going natural, this means that all the ingredients in your food are things that you can easily pronounce. Going down this path may be the harder way, but we believe that it’s the only way.”

From gourmet burgers and wraps to succulent chicken, vibrant bowls and premium gelato, every dish at Santé is prepared from scratch daily, using ingredients that are as close to nature as possible.

The menu is also designed to cater to diverse lifestyles — from fitness enthusiasts and busy professionals to families seeking better everyday choices.

With its tagline “Go Natural, Live Well,” Santé aims to inspire a new generation of mindful eaters who care about what goes into their bodies and the planet.

Santé is now open at the CMC Centre at Taman Connaught, Cheras, offering Malaysians a guilt-free, flavour-packed fast food experience that celebrates real ingredients, honest cooking, and sustainable living.
