OBJECTIVE:

The project was organised by in collaboration with Collab, Platz Design Studio and Hello Pangkor to set up a permanent exhibition for the Living Museum of Anchovy Fishery at Kim Guan’s anchovy factory. Collab as community have earlier participated in the BRC Workshop on 8th Jan 2024 and Dr Sign Workshop on 13th Jan 2024, which they learned about the material assembling methods and digital fabrication of acrylics. Collab have applied the knowledge to help the community in Pangkor to set up an exhibition at the Living Museum of Anchovy Fishery. They have constructed the exhibition display units using BRC and acrylics to exhibit in the museum. The installation works at the site were joined by participants from Collab and 7 participants from Hello Pangkor on 24th Feb 2024.
