OBJECTIVE:

The International Café & Beverage Show (ICBS) 2026, recognised as the region’s most commercially focused café and beverage exhibition, was held from 7–9 May 2026 at KLCC. The event brought together industry players, innovators, and sustainability advocates to explore the future of the F&B sector. This year’s exhibition also collaborated with MyFood under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, creating a platform for meaningful industry engagement and knowledge sharing.

During the event, Leong Sat Sing, Vice President of the UCSI Group Sustainability Office, delivered a talk titled “Thriving F&B – How Sustainability Wins Customers and Cuts Costs”. The session highlighted how sustainable practices can help businesses improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen customer confidence in an increasingly competitive market.

The presentation also shared practical strategies for integrating sustainability into F&B operations, while emphasising the growing role of environmental responsibility in influencing consumer preferences and supporting long-term business growth.
