OBJECTIVE:

The event of the day started with the welcoming speech by the chairman of the program Dr Normina and introduction of the speaker, Dr Ameera Rahmat who is also our Master’s prog student. The speaker gave the educational talk on “The Importance of Sunscreen: Protecting Your Skin for a Healthier Future,” the vital role that sunscreen plays in safeguarding our skin from the harmful effects of UV radiation. The talk begins by elucidating the mechanics of sunscreen, shedding light on its SPF and its defence against both UVA and UVB rays. Explore reality of skin cancer, emphasising how sunscreen acts as a potent barrier against its development. Importance of sunscreen serves as a strong anti-aging agent, mitigating the premature signs of aging such as wrinkles and age spots. Urging the audience to integrate sunscreen into their daily routines, underscoring its significance in cultivating healthier, more resilient skin for years to come.), followed by question and answer session. Thereafter, assessment using google form was sent to participant to give feedback on the talk. The program ended with appreciation to the speaker.
