OBJECTIVE:

On 14 March 2026, the Eco Action @ Kebun-Kebun Sungai Klang volunteering programme brought together participants for a meaningful morning of environmental and community activities at Kebun Sungai Klang. The programme provided an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of the green space while promoting greater appreciation for nature and sustainable practices.

Participants took part in a range of hands-on activities, including gotong-royong, micro forest clean-up, and carrying animal playhouses. Despite the physically demanding nature of the activities, the programme encouraged teamwork, camaraderie and active participation in creating a cleaner and more welcoming environment for the community and animals.

The programme was organised by Youth Beyond Boundaries and the ESR Committees, in collaboration with Kebun-Kebun Sungai Klang. Appreciation is extended to the organisers, partners and all participants for their time, effort and contributions towards making the volunteering programme a meaningful environmental and community engagement initiative.
