Culture Connect Camp May 2026

OBJECTIVE:

As part of Culture Connect Camp May 2026, held from 30 April to 3 May 2026, participants took part in a reforestation and gardening volunteer activity at UCSI University. The programme brought together youths from diverse backgrounds, including participants from GESS (German European School Singapore), local communities, and indigenous communities to promote environmental stewardship and community engagement.

Organised through the collaboration between The Patatas, The Blue Ribbon Global, UCSI University, and UCSI School, the activity encouraged participants to contribute towards greener and healthier communities through hands-on planting and gardening efforts. The session also fostered teamwork, cultural exchange, and greater awareness on the importance of protecting the environment.

The volunteer activity reflected the shared commitment towards sustainability, climate action, and empowering youths to create meaningful impact through local-level environmental initiatives.
