APEC Symposium on Energy Transition: Batteries, Fuel Cells, and Electric Vehicles

OBJECTIVE:

The APEC Symposium on Energy Transition: Batteries, Fuel Cells, and Electric Vehicles at UCSI University convened experts to discuss the crucial trends in automotive policy and urban infrastructure necessary for the shift to Electric Vehicles (EVs). Discussions centered on national policies like Malaysia’s NAP 2020 and NIMP 2030 for accelerating EV adoption, the need for low-carbon, sustainable urban planning, and the rapid development of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and charging networks. The symposium also explored how EV-ready cities can be achieved by bridging strategic urban design, digital transition tools, and sustainability principles.
