OBJECTIVE:

In the spirit of togetherness and cultural appreciation, Pavilion REIT, in collaboration with UCSI University, organised a meaningful Majlis Berbuka Puasa Bersama alongside a special Batik Workshop. The event brought together participants from diverse backgrounds, creating a warm and inclusive environment to celebrate the values of unity, compassion, and shared cultural heritage.

As part of the initiative, 10 meters of batik fabric were provided for participants from various charity homes and community groups—comprising both children and adults—to colour and co-create. This hands-on experience allowed participants to engage with Malaysia’s traditional textile art while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and meaningful interaction ahead of the breaking of fast.

The programme welcomed participants from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ar Rahmaniah, Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Asnaf Al Barakh Malaysia, Keluarga Besar Norlina Alawi Bhd, Pusat Jagaan Kasih Murni, Komuniti Sri Rakyat Bukit Jalil, and Komuniti PPR Pinggiran Bukit Jalil. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to community engagement, cultural preservation, and giving back—bringing people together through art, tradition, and compassion.
