Enhancing Integrity in Higher Education

OBJECTIVE:

Staff members from UCSI Group participated in the “Enhancing Integrity in Higher Education” training, gaining valuable insights into governance, compliance, and ethical decision-making. The session equipped participants with a clearer understanding of anti-corruption laws, particularly the
MACC Act 2009
while strengthening their ability to identify and manage corruption risks within both academic and administrative contexts.

Through practical discussions and expert guidance, attendees deepened their awareness of proper reporting mechanisms and the importance of distinguishing acceptable practices from prohibited gratification. The training not only enhanced individual competencies but also reinforced a shared commitment to integrity, accountability, and transparent governance across the university. Participants left better prepared to uphold ethical standards in their daily roles, contributing meaningfully to UCSI’s broader sustainability and governance agenda.
