OBJECTIVE:

The sustainability and ESG training conducted on 25 February 2026 at UCSI University formed part of the university’s continuous efforts to strengthen sustainability and ESG awareness among students in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The session explored the evolving role of ESG in addressing environmental, social, and governance challenges across industries and institutions. Participants gained practical insights into how sustainability principles contribute to responsible decision-making, risk management, and long-term organisational value creation. The programme reinforced the importance of equipping students with relevant sustainability knowledge to drive meaningful and lasting impact beyond the campus environment.
