OBJECTIVE:

The Sustainability and ESG training conducted on 21 January 2026 at UCSI Hospital, organised by the UCSI Group Sustainability Office, was held to a full house and formed part of UCSI Group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen sustainability and ESG awareness among healthcare university students in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This session explored the relevance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles within the healthcare sector and their role in addressing global environmental and social challenges. Participants gained a clearer understanding of how ESG considerations influence responsible decision-making, institutional practices, and future career pathways in healthcare settings. The session reinforced the importance of equipping students with sustainability knowledge to drive long-term value creation and positive impact within and beyond the healthcare industry.
