OBJECTIVE:

Applied Science Week 2024 was a celebration of scientific exploration and practical application, designed to engage participants in hands-on activities, workshops, and competitions related to various fields of applied science. Some of the activities during this week include Workshops and Demonstrations, Science competitions and Interactive Exhibits and Displays. These engagements covered topics such as environmental science, forensics, biotechnology, and sustainable energy, where participants actively engage with current technologies and scientific principles. One of the competitions that were carried out include the food product development competition where students were evaluated based on the food product they had created from uncommon raw materials or by products of food processes which are nutritious and cheap. The Interactive Exhibits and Displays Featuring student research and projects allow attendees to explore innovations and technologies developed within the realm of applied science.
