Facelifting Educational Centre_Mural Work at The Treehouse Society, Langkawi
OBJECTIVE:
The face-lifting of the Treehouse Society’s educational center aims to transform the learning space into a vibrant, inspiring environment for underprivileged children. Led by founder Mr. Kiran Kreer, the project focuses on revitalizing the center through colourful murals that reflect the cultural and social identity of the community. The initiative enhances the center’s aesthetic appeal while fostering a sense of belonging and pride among the children. This collaborative effort brings together participants, volunteers, and the children under Mr. Kiran’s care. By participating in the mural-making process, the children develop creativity, teamwork, and self-expression, gaining a deeper connection to their space. The project also serves as a platform for community members and children to contribute their skills, building stronger bonds and a shared sense of accomplishment. The impact extends beyond aesthetics. The revitalized center provides a more engaging and uplifting learning environment, positively influencing the children’s emotional and mental well-being. It also raises awareness of the Treehouse Society’s mission, inspiring further support for underprivileged education. For participants, the project fosters a sense of purpose and fulfilment by contributing to a meaningful cause. Overall, the fresh look of the learning center stands as a testament to the collective effort of the community. It highlights the transformative power of art and collaboration in creating a space that not only educates but inspires, empowering children and participants alike to envision a brighter future.
